Ripple Floral Wreath Ring

Cottage Garden meets Ikebana with this hand thrown stoneware floral ring that makes flower arranging simple for beginners and florists alike.

The rings surface has been decorated with scattering technique which creates effect of ripples on surface of the water. The piece has been made with stoneware clay and finished with matt white glaze that allows the lovely speckles in the clay shine through.

Use seasonal flowers or even just greenery to create a lovely centrepiece for your dinner or coffee table  or why not as a wedding centrepiece. Just remember to top up with water regularly if fresh materials are used.

Between uses I recommend using a small bottle brush to clean the inside of the ring.

Arranging TIP:  Use heavier flower heads lower down and lighter wispy ones higher. For a natural meadow feel make sure materials use cut into random lengths and if a stem is too thin to stand correctly in the whole use another flower or short cutting of a stem to provide support.
